This was the fourth NCLT Bi-Metallic coin struck by the RAM and released in a coin card in 2000 to commemorate 70 years since Phar Lap won the Melbourne Cup in 1930.
The coin is crafted from an aluminium-bronze centre inside a stainless-steel ring and has a smooth 24-sided edge.
Encapsulated and carded.
Some scuffing to the capsule.
