In 1988 the Royal Australian Mint produced its first 5 dollar coin commemorating the opening of New Parliament House in Canberra.

Only 80,000 of these aluminium bronze 5 dollar proof coins were commissioned in celebration of the opening of New Parliament House.

This Proof version of the coin is as issued, encapsulated in a grey plush case, in a white outer box with a certificate.

The outer boxes have some minor wear, all other contents remain in immaculate condition.

Catalogue Value: $25.00
