2004 Australian $1 Coin - Commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Eureka Stockade
To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the end of the Eureka Stockade, the Royal Australian Mint (RAM) released a Non-Circulating Legal Tender (NCLT) aluminum-bronze dollar coin featuring these counterstamps:
- (C) Canberra
- (E) Eureka
- (S) Sydney
- (B) Brisbane
- (M) Melbourne
These coins were available for general sale and at various Royal and Coin Shows throughout Australia, presented in a folding coin card. At some coin shows, the coins could be counterstamped using the Mobile Press.
