2013 Issue 12.

The Perth Mint and Australia Post have released The Queen’s Coronation Stamp and Coin Cover. This release celebrates two significant anniversaries – Queen Elizabeth II 60th Anniversary of Coronation and Queen Victoria 175th Anniversary of Coronation.

The two stamps feature iconic images from Queen Elizabeth II Coronation from 1953. Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the uncirculated aluminium bronze coins are housed in a beautifully designed card that fits inside a similarly illustrated envelope with a circular window revealing the coin’s reverse and obverse designs.

The coin’s reverse features an image of the crown worn for her Coronation ceremony in 1953. As well as The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ Mintmark, the design features the inscription QUEEN ELIZABETH II 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF CORONATION and the dates 1953-2013.

The Queen Victoria coin’s reverse features an image of the crown worn for her Coronation ceremony in 1838. As well as The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ Mintmark, the design features the inscription QUEEN VICTORIA 175th ANNIVERSARY OF CORONATION and the dates 1838 – 2013. Affixed to the envelope is an official Australia Post 60c & $2.60 stamp.

The stamp is postmarked for the first day of issue and the envelope includes Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity and official number.

All PNC's remain in excellent condition, with only minor wear.
