The 1925 Australian Half Penny was minted in Melbourne, Australia with a mintage of approximately 1,147,000. It is considered a slightly harder date.

The 1925 Australian halfpenny obverse features the robed and crowned bust of King George V facing left, with the legend: 

'GEORGIVS V D.G.BRITT:OMN:REX F.D.IND:IMP:'

The reverse shows an inner beaded circle with the words 'ONE HALF PENNY' above a small scroll, surrounded by the legend: 'COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA', and the date below.
