The 1947 U.K. Florin was common for the period, with approx. 22,910,085

It was the first year of the cupro-nickel Florin 

The reverse shows a crowned rose in the centre representing England, a thistle bud to the left, representing Scotland, and a shamrock leaf to the right representing Ireland. The royal cypher, 'G' and 'R' is divided to either side. (George Rex).

The main design is surrounded by a legend reading ':FID:DEF::IND:IMP:' above, with 'TWO SHILLINGS' and the date below. 

I would grade this coin as About Uncirculated.
