The 1967 United Kingdom half-crown obverse features the laureate bust of young Queen Elizabeth II facing right, with the surrounding legend: 'ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA'.
The reverse shows a crowned shield with 'E' to the left, and 'R' to the right. Shield quadrants represent members of the United Kingdom: 3 lions for England, 1 lion for Scotland, and a harp for Northern Ireland. This design is surrounded by a legend reading
'FID DEF' above, with 'HALF CROWN' and the date below.
