1998 Masterpieces in Silver - Coins of the 20th Century Milestones - Multiple Sets Available
The Masterpieces in Silver series was produced from 1988 to 2011 by the Royal Australian Mint. This long running coin series is dedicated to Australian themes and events that have shaped Australia as a nation.
The 1998 Masterpieces in Silver - Proof fine silver set pays tribute to the Coins of the 20th Century Milestones.
Reverse sides of the coins were designed by multiple artists, from William Henry James Blakemore (1910) to Stuart Devlin (2008), with the Obverse of each carrying the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.
Coins are struck to proof quality and are of multiple denominations (Crown, Florin, and 20 cent coin).

- Weighing 13.36 grams (Florins and 20 cent coins) and 36.31 grams (1937 Crown)
- With a diameter of 28.52 mm (Florins and 20 cent coins) and 38.74 mm (1937 Crown)
Stored in a purple clamshell case, with certificate of authenticity. This set also has an external box to keep the case protected.
Some very minor wear to the external box has occurred, with the case remaining in almost perfect condition.
