2015 $1 Coin - ANZAC Centenary 1915-2015 - 'C' Mintmark.
This release is also signed by the former Chief Executive officer (CEO) of the Royal Australian Mint, Mr. Ross MacDiarmid (example image of signature included).
Though I have been unable to locate the origin story for this particular release, Ross MacDiarmid was present for many coin launches over his ten years as CEO, and given the significance of the theme for this release may have been among a certain number of coins first struck on the day of release:
Designed by Aleksandra Stokic, the reverse background includes a depiction of the coastline along the Gallipoli Peninsula. In the foreground soldiers stand sentinel as a bugler sounds the Last Post. A cross formed within the design is a symbol of the lost and a link to the war cemeteries of World War I where they were interred, according to the RAM.
The obverse carries the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
