Loose Change Coins – Pre-Order Policy

 

1. What is a Pre-Order?

A pre-order allows you to reserve and pay for a product before its official release date. This ensures that a limited-release or high-demand item is secured for your collection and despatched as soon as stock becomes available.

2. Special Note on Embargoed Items

To ensure a fair and equitable release for all collectors, Loose Change Coins strictly adheres to official product embargoes set by manufacturers and creators (such as the Royal Mint).

  • Products will not be visible or available for pre-order until their specific embargo has been officially lifted.
  • Please do not contact us regarding upcoming items under embargo; such requests will not be actioned or responded to.

3. Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)

Every pre-order listing includes an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) in the product description.

  • Estimates: Please note that ETAs are provided as a guide only. Despatch dates are subject to change due to manufacturing schedules, supplier shortages, or postal delays beyond my control.
  • Significant Delays: In the event of a significant delay (exceeding two months from the original ETA), I will contact you directly with an update.

4. Combined & Split Shipping

  • The "Hold" Rule: If your order contains a mix of "Pre-Order" and "In-Stock" items, the entire order will be held and despatched together once the final pre-order item arrives.
  • Requesting a Split: If you wish to receive in-stock items immediately, please place separate orders. Alternatively, you may contact me to request a split shipment; please note that this will incur additional shipping charges for the new parcel(s).

5. Order Cancellations

Please choose carefully when placing a pre-order.

  • Change of Mind: Under the Australian Consumer Law, I am not required to provide a refund for change-of-mind cancellations. As a sole trader, my ability to cancel orders is limited once stock has been committed.
  • Processing Window: Due to administrative and warehouse procedures, I cannot cancel or amend any order containing a pre-order product within three (3) days of its scheduled release date.

6. Supply Issues & Allocations

In the rare event that a manufacturer "allocates" stock (meaning I receive less than what was ordered and confirmed), orders will be fulfilled in the sequence they were received. If I am unable to fulfil your pre-order due to supplier unavailability, you will be contacted immediately and provided with a full refund.

7. Returns & Quality

All pre-ordered items are subject to my standard Returns & Shipping Policy. Please note that for commemorative coins, the original mint packaging and seals are considered an integral part of the product. Rights to a refund may be voided if items are removed from their original packaging or returned in a damaged state.
