1977 United Kingdom - Silver Jubilee Commemorative Crown/25 pence - Uncirculated
The obverse reads:
ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 1977
An original design by Arnold Machin, showing the ampulla and anointing spoon that were used in the coronation ceremony. These had been renovated for the coronation of Charles II, are believed to date respectively from the 14th and 12th centuries, and to be the oldest items in the Regalia to have remained in continual use.
There is no inscription on the reverse.
