This is a commemorative Two-Medal Set issued by the Tasmanian Numismatic Society in 1982 to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Organised Cricket in Tasmania (1832–1982). This limited-edition set contains one medal in sterling silver and one medal in bronze, commemorating a significant milestone in the state's sporting history.

This set includes two medals, sharing the same design, struck to collector quality:
- Proof Sterling Silver Medal: Weighs 82.29 grams, is struck to a Proof finish, with a diameter of 51 millimetres.
- Bronze Medal: Weighs approx. 51 grams, is struck to an Uncirculated finish, and has a diameter of 51 millimetres.
Design and Details
- Subject: The medal design commemorates the long history of organised cricket in Tasmania.

Design: The reverse features an image of a bearded cricketer in a historical uniform, taking a stance at a set of stumps.
- Central Inscription: '150th. ANNIVERSARY OF ORGANISED CRICKET IN TASMANIA 1832-1982'
- Outer Inscription: 'TASMANIAN NUMISMATIC SOCIETY'
- Mint Mark: The inscription at the bottom centre confirms the medals were struck by the private Australian mint, 'STOKES' (Stokes & Sons, Melbourne).

Obverse: This side commemorates the centenary of the iconic Tasmanian Cricket Association (TCA) Ground in Hobart, established in 1882.
- Motif: A detailed illustration of the grandstand or pavilion at the TCA Ground, with players engaged in a game of cricket on the field below.
- Inscriptions: The outer inscription reads 'CENTENARY OF CRICKET' above the image, and '1882 T.C.A. GROUND 1982' below, confirming the 100-year anniversary of the ground itself.
