About this Coin:

 Released in 2017, this colourful 20-cent coin celebrates 25 years of Australia's most iconic duo, B1 and B2. Originally appearing on Play School before spinning off into their own hit show in 1992, the Bananas in Pyjamas have become a nostalgic staple of Australian childhood. This coin was part of a special set that also featured Australia's first-ever coloured 5-cent coin. Because it was only issued in collector folders and limited-edition Postal Numismatic Covers (PNCs), individual 20c coins are highly prized by collectors of children's television memorabilia and modern coloured decimal issues.
