1947 New Zealand Sixpence - About Uncirculated

The 1957 New Zealand sixpence obverse features the bare head of King George VI facing left. The surrounding legend reads:

'GEORGE VI KING EMPEROR'

The reverse design shows a huia bird (now extinct), perched on a branch. The words
'NEW ZEALAND' are above the main design, with 'SIXPENCE' and the date below.

This coin is considered relatively common lower grades with approx. 3,200,000 minted.

This year saw a change of composition to cupro-nickel.

I would grade this coin as About Uncirculated.
