2001 Royal Australian Mint Uncirculated 6 Coin Set - The Centenary of Federation
A vital part of the biggest commemorative coin program in Australia since decimal currency was introduced.
The 1998 set consists of six coins:
- Five Cents
- Ten Cents
- Twenty Cents
- Centenary of Federation Fifty Cents
- Centenary of Federation One Dollar
- Two Dollars.
These six coin sets are sealed in an official fold-out see-both-sides, colourful presentation bubble pack and enclosed in a protective envelope.
Each is struck to the Mints Uncirculated standards.
All in all there were ten different commemorative fifty cent coins; nine different commemorative twenty cent coins and one commemorative one dollar coin issued in the Centenary of Federation commemorative coin series, easily the biggest stimulus the Royal Australian Mint has given to Australian numismatics since the introduction of decimal currency.
The coins in this set are in perfect condition, with minor wear to the packaging.
Only 90,822 of these sets were produced.
