Own a piece of history with this extremely rare strip of three uncut 2 Kina banknotes from Papua New Guinea, issued in 1975. This unique set originates from the very first release of uncut sheets by the Bank of Papua New Guinea, a limited batch of only 500 sheets containing 35 banknotes each.
Each note features a striking design with black and dark green printing on a light green and multicoloured underprint. The front showcases a stylised Bird of Paradise at the left centre, accompanied by a distinctive 16mm wide white strip on the right. The back of the banknotes features various artefacts, while the watermark displays the iconic Bird of Paradise.
Presented in a protective folder, each set is in excellent condition, comparable to the one pictured. Please note that the prefix numbers on your banknotes will differ from those shown.
