1984 Australian One Dollar Coin - Uncirculated Red Card
The introduction of the $1 coin into the Australian currency in 1984 was an important event that replaced the $1 banknote and was the first major change to the Australian circulating decimal coinage since 1966.
The kangaroo design on the reverse side continued the theme of Australian fauna on the circulating coinage.
As with many of the Uncirculated Mint Year sets from 1984, the plastic coin holder has yellowed.
The coin remains as minted however, and an excellent addition to your collection.
