These coins were part of a "Mint Your Own" (MYO) program at the Royal Australian Mint, where they were issued in wallets with the RAM building or Olympic rings.

They were also available at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. This specific MYO version has an extremely low mintage of 13,996 from the RAM Public Gallery and 26,500 from the Sydney Easter Show, making it a rare and treasured collectible for any Olympic or coin enthusiast.
