2006 PNC - XVIII (18th) Commonwealth Games

This limited-edition non-circulating legal tender (NCLT) $5 coin was minted by the Royal Australian Mint (RAM) to commemorate the XVII Commonwealth Games held in Melbourne in 2006.

• The coin's reverse features graceful figures representing the spirit and sports of the Games.
• These figures are repeated 71 times, symbolising the 71 competing nations, and encircle the Commonwealth Crown and the Melbourne 2006 Games logo.
• Only 22,552 of these coins were allocated for these highly sought-after Postal Numismatic Covers (PNCs).
• All available PNCs are in excellent condition, with only minor wear on the outer covers.
