About this Coin
This coin holds a unique place in Australian numismatic history as one of the first "Quarters" ever issued by the Royal Australian Mint. It refers to the famous Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea during WWII, where native carriers, known as "Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels", helped carry and care for the wounded. With a mintage of only 268,700, this coin is a significant and valued addition to any collection honouring Australia's military history.
