2016 Issue 21.

Snow Leopards live in the steep and rocky alpine regions of Central Asia.

They are insulated by thick hair, and their wide, fur-covered feet act as natural snow shoes. Snow Leopards have powerful legs and they are able to jump as far as 15 metres. They use their long tails for balance and as blankets to cover sensitive body parts against severe mountain chill.

The Perth Mint and Australia Post have released this stunning Stamp and Coin Cover featuring these rare, beautiful leopards.

The coin's reverse features two coloured leopard cubs in the mountains in Central Asia. This inscription CUBS and The Perth Mint's 'P' Mintmark also appear amongst the design.

The coin's obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2016 year-date and the monetary denomination.

Affixed to the envelope is an official Australia Post $1.00 stamp, the stamp is postmarked for the First Day of Issue 20th September 2016 - Mosman NSW 2068 and the envelope includes Australia Posts' Seal of Authenticity.

Issue Limit: 7,500.
